Job Title: Intermodal Coordinator - Truck Dispatch

CMA CGM Canada is seeking an Intermodal Coordinator to manage truck dispatch operations. The ideal candidate has transportation experience, advanced Excel skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and prioritize inland haulage based on timetables and client needs.
  • Facilitate movement of containers due to vessel bypasses or equipment issues.
  • Manage truck availability and create work orders for door collection/delivery.
  • Track shipments to meet delivery schedules and communicate delays to customers.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to expedite transport.
  • Handle cost-related activities, including invoicing and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of transportation and logistics.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including macros.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English.
  • Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and in team settings.
