What you can expect to do here :
- Use software tools such as Microsoft Office, MS Project, AutoCAD, Civil3D, MicroStation, and InRoads/OpenRoads for project design, drawings, and tender documents.
- Prepare for and attend meetings with clients and stakeholders, including creating agendas and meeting minutes.
- Support the development of technical documents like memos, reports, and specifications.
- Collaborate closely with team members across various disciplines and experience levels.
- Participate in mentoring relationships, with weekly meetings to discuss technical challenges and career development.
- Support tasks like utility coordination, cost estimation, scheduling, storm sewer design, permit applications, and property plans.
- Assist the Project Manager in project coordination efforts.
- Engage in regular lunch and learn sessions to expand your knowledge across technical and career topics.
- Grow your technical, communication, and management skills to advance your career.
What you'll bring to WSP :
- A university degree in Civil Engineering.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience.
- P.Eng. designation is an asset.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, InRoads, and other relevant software.
- Strong communication skills.
