The Opportunity

We are seeking an Intermediate Oracle EBS HCM Techno-Functional Analyst to join our team who plays a key role in providing ongoing support & maintenance of HCM modules in Oracle EBS R12.2 environment.

As an Intermediate Technical-Functional Analyst, you play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation and continuous improvement of our enterprise applications. You work closely with various business units to understand their needs, gather requirements, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity.

The Role

Reporting to the Manager, IT, you add value to the team by overseeing key areas such as:

  • Supporting day-to-day operations by addressing user inquiries, troubleshooting technical issues, performing root cause analysis, and resolving system errors to ensure smooth business operations;
  • Conducting detailed functional analysis of business processes within the Oracle EBS modules, such as Core HR, Payroll, and Learning Management, and recommending solutions to optimize system functionality and efficiency;
  • Supporting all technical activities like analyzing & testing HRMS patches, security patches, application & database upgrades, following processes consistent with the approved Agile approach;
  • Supporting semi-monthly payroll runs and ensuring deadlines for bank file generation & month-end accounting are met;
  • Providing detailed deployment instructions for successful migration/backout of code;
  • Collaborating with Oracle support and third-party vendors to escalate and resolve complex technical issues;
  • Designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting process integrations in/out of Oracle EBS with other applications such as Crew Scheduling, Time Collection, Maximo, and more;
  • Customizing and extending Oracle EBS applications to meet business needs;

What you bring to the team

  • Hands-on experience in Oracle HCM Modules such as Core HR, Payroll, and Learning Management;
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field;
  • Good understanding of functional processes and configuration of Core HR, Payroll & Learning Management;
  • Strong technical skills in Oracle SQL/PLSQL and application components like AOL, XML Reports, WEBADI, Oracle Workflow, Form Personalization, Interfaces & Conversions;
  • Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently;
  • Good understanding of Fast Formulas and Retro functionality in Oracle Payroll;
  • Knowledge of OA Framework (OAF) development;
  • Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud & Oracle APEX is an asset;
  • Experience with RPA development and methodology is an asset.

Additional information

The target salary range: $83,500 - $104,300 per annum. The starting salary is determined based on the successful candidate’s knowledge, experience, and internal equity.
