LOCATION: Riverview Elementary School

EFFECTIVE DATES: Commencing September 1, 2024 until June 30, 2025

POSITION: Teacher General - temporary

ASSIGNMENT: Intermediate (Gr 4-7)

FTE: 1.0

Basic Qualifications: A successful candidate will hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and be a member in good standing in the BC Ministry of Education, Teacher Regulation Branch AND possess one or more of the following:

1. Training Specialization: Elementary Education with Specialization at the intermediate Level.
2. Related Teaching Experience: Recent successful experience teaching at the intermediate level.
3. A Reasonable Expectation: Based on a teacher's skills, abilities, professional development, and overall classroom teaching experience, that the teacher will be able to perform the duties in a successful manner in collaboration with other professional staff.

Additional Qualifications: Not required for this posting.

The starting annual salary for the full-time Teacher ranges from $61,175 to $109,520 with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement. We also offer a competitive benefits package and pension.
