Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly motivated Intermediate Structural Engineer with 5–10 years of relevant experience in industrial projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and analysis of steel and concrete structures, preparation of engineering deliverables, and coordination with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform structural design and analysis of industrial facilities, pipe racks, equipment supports, foundations, and structural platforms
• Prepare drawings, specifications, and reports
• Conduct site visits, assessments, and field reviews
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other discipline engineers
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and drafters

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Registered (or eligible for registration) as a P.Eng. in Alberta
• 5–10 years of structural engineering experience, preferably in the industrial sector
• Proficiency with structural analysis tools (e.g., STAAD.Pro, RISA, or equivalent)
• Familiarity with Canadian building codes, CSA standards, and industrial design practices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with laser scan data and point cloud integration is an asset
• Field experience during construction is considered an asset
