Job summary

Englobe in Calgary, Alberta is seeking a Stormwater/Water Resources Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our team. The role involves leading design of stormwater systems, modelling with PCSWMM/HEC-RAS, and developing planning documents across project scales.

You will mentor junior engineers, assist with project planning, scheduling, and client communications while contributing to modernization of stormwater practices and regulatory compliance within multiple markets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
  • Eligibility for registration with APEGA.
  • P.Eng. certification is considered an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in stormwater/water resources engineering.
  • PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, and other modelling software experience is an asset.
  • Understanding of local regulatory requirements pertaining to stormwater.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the design of greenfield and retrofit stormwater management systems.
  • Model existing and future systems using PCSWMM and HEC-RAS.
  • Develop stormwater management planning documents at various detail levels.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, cost estimates, and client communications.

MPE / Englobe is currently seeking a Stormwater/Water Resources Engineer to join our team in Calgary, Alberta. This position requires an Intermediate Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience. MPE is recognized as an industry leader in traditional stormwater system design and Low Impact Development (LID) practices.
