Job summary

ADGA is growing their software team in Ottawa, seeking an Intermediate Software Developer to contribute to PL/SQL and multi-language code bases.

You will study existing PL/SQL code, design and debug in C++, C#, JavaScript, and JSON, and build interfaces for data synchronization.

The role requires 5+ years as a programmer, experience in Agile, and eligibility for a Secret (Level II) Canadian Federal Government security clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of demonstrated experience as a Programmer/Software Developer.
• At least 1 year coding in C++ using MS Visual Studio and SQL.
• At least 1 year coding in Oracle PL SQL using SQL Navigator or TOAD.
• At least 2 years programming with Oracle broker technology.
• At least 2 years in Agile development environment.

Responsibilities

• The study of existing PL SQL code and write PL SQL code to meet change specifications.
• The oversight and/or design and debug of C++ and/or PL SQL and/or C# and/or JavaScript and/or JSON code to ensure performance.
• The development of application interfaces between systems for data synchronization and data integrity.
• The writing of custom reports and ad-hoc reports to satisfy client specifications.
• Any other Programmer/Software Developer - Level 2 tasks as requested by the TA.
