Intermediate/Senior Wastewater Design Engineer

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Wastewater Design Engineer at WT Infrastructure Solutions Inc. The Wastewater Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing solutions for wastewater projects, utilizing skills in wastewater process engineering, detailed design, preparation of specifications and cost estimate as well as contract administration. Projects include wastewater pumping stations, lagoon upgrades, MBR and MBBR projects as well as design support for Class Environmental Assessments and Facility Optimization Studies. The majority of the projects are in Central and Southern Ontario for rural and medium sized municipal clients. The successful candidate should be familiar with the full design process from project initiation to commissioning of facilities.

Qualifications

• Intermediate Position - 5-10 years experience and P.Eng. in Ontario
• Senior Position - 10 years plus and P.Eng. in Ontario
• Detailed Design Engineering skills including exemplary knowledge of Ontario Water Resources Act and MECP Design Guidelines.
• Familiarity with six digit NMS specifications
• Working knowledge of CAD and Revit to guide junior and drafting team members
• Working knowledge of structural, electrical, mechanical and I&C system components
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Excellent organizational skills within a multidiscipline working environment
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
