Qualifications

• Au moins 4 ans d'expérience de modélisation structurelle.
• Expérience dans des projets de ponts, bâtiments commerciaux ou institutionnels.
• Préférence pour désignation auprès de l'ASET.

Responsibilities

• Préparer des modèles Revit et dessins techniques pour divers matériaux.
• Travailler avec d'autres disciplines pour des solutions de conception durables.
• Assurer la conformité des travaux des entrepreneurs avec les documents.

We’re looking for a talented and experienced Intermediate or Senior Structural Technologist to join our Edmonton team!

Our structural engineering team is behind the expansive open spaces and gravity-defying structures we create. We have a seat at the design table, working alongside our other disciplines to solve some of the hardest and most technical challenges in the industry. Our multi-disciplinary team is proud of our award-winning projects like the Bow Valley Gap Wildlife Overpass, Walterdale Bridge, and Royal Alberta Museum.Great design can change the world.

How you'll make a difference:

• Prepare high quality Revit models and engineering drawings fortimber,steel, masonryand concrete buildings
• Prepare high quality Revit models and engineering drawingsfor steel and concrete bridges
• Work with architects, interior designers,mechanicaland electrical engineers to create truly integrated and sustainable design solutions
• Opportunity to grow your knowledge by attending site reviews and inspections, as well asreviewthe contractor’s work to ensure compliance with the project drawings and specifications
• Prepare documents required for approvals, and construction cost estimates, tenders, and contracts
• Provide design supportto engineers, architects, and other technologists
• Work with other team members to ensure schedules, budgets, and quality control standards are achieved and maintained

Who you are:

• A Diploma inCivilEngineering Technology or Architectural Technology
• A minimum of 4 yearsof structural modelling experienceworking onbridges, commercial, post-secondary, healthcare, orinstitutional buildings
• Designation with The Association of Science & Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta (ASET) is preferred
• Proficient with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Collaborative, teamoriented, withthe ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines
