Responsibilities:
  • Support project managers in advanced hydrogeological services, including environmental assessments, baseline studies, mine dewatering, and groundwater supply projects
  • Develop and apply analytical and numerical groundwater models for complex projects
  • Manage and analyze hydrogeological data, ensuring accurate integration into reports
  • Present insights through detailed reports and data interpretation
  • Own project deliverables with technical leadership
  • Uphold health and safety policies
  • Mentor junior staff and foster team development
  • Collaborate with teams across Canada and globally
Qualifications:
  • 5-10 years of experience in hydrogeology or groundwater modeling (more than 10 years encouraged to apply)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Geological, Environmental Engineering, or Geology/Hydrogeology; advanced degrees preferred
  • Specialization in groundwater modeling
  • Knowledge of geology and hydrogeological applications
  • Licensed or eligible as a Professional Engineer or Geoscientist
  • Proficiency with GIS, databases, visualization tools (e.g., Leapfrog)
  • Experience with modeling software (MODFLOW, Groundwater Vistas, FEFLOW, HydroGeoSphere, MIKE SHE)
  • Programming skills in hydrogeological contexts
  • Field experience such as borehole logging, well installation, hydraulic testing, water sampling
  • Strong organizational, communication, and technical writing skills
Compensation:

Salary range in British Columbia: $86,500 - $132,200. Final salary depends on education, experience, skills, location, and organizational needs. The range may be adjusted for business reasons.
