Intermediate & Senior Designer / Technologist

Wang Architects Inc., a dynamic and growing architectural firm based in Markham, Ontario, is committed to design excellence, innovation, and client satisfaction. We are currently seeking Intermediate and Senior Designers / Technologists who are passionate about design and possess strong technical expertise to join our collaborative team.

What We’re Looking For

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in an architectural firm
Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture

Key Skills:

Strong design sensibility and creative thinking

Proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering

Solid experience in Revit for construction documentation

Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office

In-depth knowledge of the Ontario Building Code

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities

Responsibilities

Produce detailed construction drawings and technical documentation using Revit

Collaborate closely with architects and team members to develop design concepts and presentations

Create 3D models and renderings with SketchUp and other software

Apply Ontario Building Code standards throughout the design and documentation process

Maintain clear communication with internal teams, engineers and clients

Apply for building permit and coordinate with city staff

Participate in construction administration and project coordination
