We’re looking for Healthcare Service Advisors to join our Healthcare Services team to ensure timely and equitable resolution of sophisticated Accident Benefit claims.

What you’ll do:

  1. Interpret insurance contracts, resolve policy coverages, establish and adjust reserves in accordance with corporate guidelines.
  2. Handle Accident Benefits claims according to individual authority, knowledge, and expertise.
  3. Acquire investigative reports, independent medical examinations where appropriate, statements from insureds/witnesses, and other specialists as required.
  4. Educate customers and providers on any new auto reform changes.
  5. Ensure all aspects of the claim process are handled optimally and within company guidelines.
  6. Assist in resolving claims issues with respect to interpretations related to legislation and settlement negotiations.
  7. Ensure service levels and quality standards are met by approved specialists.
  8. Educate our insureds about the Premiere Healthcare network.
  9. Attend and actively participate in training and file clinic sessions.

What you’ll bring:

  1. College Diploma/Associate Degree or similar experience.
  2. 2+ years of Accident Benefits insurance claims handling experience is required.
  3. Large Loss experience is preferred.
  4. Post-secondary Education (College Diploma or Bachelor Degree) in a related field.
  5. CIP or working towards CIP is required for licensing.
  6. Ability to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  7. Good organizational skills.
  8. Ability to adapt and work within various computer programs, databases, and software.

What you’ll get:

The salary band for this position ranges from $45,600.00 to $84,600.00. Please note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as internal equity.
