Base pay range

CA$80,000.00/yr - CA$135,000.00/yr

About The Role

Reporting to the Environmental Manager, the Intermediate Regulatory Specialist supports and leads activities related to environmental assessments, licensing, and permits for Ensero projects and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support activities related to environmental assessments, licensing, and permits with guidance from Senior technical SMEs.
  • Prepare summary and technical reports for internal and external requirements, leading the development of environmental assessments and regulatory applications.
  • Analyze and interpret environmental data.
  • Collaborate with Geoscience, Water Management, Engineering, and Reclamation teams to improve environmental management and streamline regulatory processes.
  • Provide training and technical support to junior staff.
  • Support environmental management, compliance, governance, and permitting efforts across projects.
  • Engage with assessors, regulators, clients, and communities to facilitate regulatory activities.
  • Stay informed about legislative changes affecting projects and disseminate information within the company.
  • Contribute to client proposals and explore business development opportunities.
  • Perform other related duties as needed.
About You
  • University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental assessment and permitting.
  • Experience in environmental consulting or project consulting.
  • Knowledge of impact assessment and licensing regimes in Yukon, BC, and other jurisdictions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
