Qualifications

  • Recognised qualifications, HNC minimum (or related), with strong experience.
  • Strong previous experience as a quantity surveyor within a main contractor.
  • Numerate, organised, analytical with good leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage financial cost control of current contracts.
  • Handle financial reporting and improving financial returns.
  • Mentor and delegate tasks to junior staff.
  • Deliver cost advice to Contracts Managers.

Intermediate Quantity Surveyor – Kent – Competitive Salary

A main contractor with over £50m turnover is on the lookout for an experienced project surveyor to be based in Kent. Ideally to have experience working on healthcare projects.

My client operates across a broad range of sectors, including housing, large regeneration schemes, education, health and mixed-use. We have built a reputation as a leading regeneration business working to provide cross subsidy partnerships including an increasing portfolio of development opportunities including private sale. A typical scheme has a construction value of £22m to £60m and will be primarily residential based. We also manage a smaller proportion of education and healthcare schemes.
