The Intermediate QA Analyst is a 1-year Contract role that works with the delivery team to ensure the successful implementation of all changes to the core product. The role requires daily interaction and collaboration with project managers in the Delivery team.

Responsibilities:
  1. Identify critical and repetitive test scenarios, automate them, and oversee their execution and maintenance.
  2. Ensure bugs are triaged and resolved promptly, fostering a culture of quality within the production teams.
  3. Create and execute test plans across multiple projects, document results, and collaborate on root cause analysis.
  4. Understand project and customer contexts, objectives, and use cases.
  5. Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality software that meets requirements.
  6. Develop strategies for continuous improvement, including manual testing, automation, and performance testing frameworks.
  7. Work closely with customers and team members to ensure requirements are testable and solutions are coherent and complete.
  8. Participate in standups and planning meetings, contribute to risk analysis, and help resolve issues.
  9. Gain detailed understanding of the technical features of Smile Digital Health’s products for testing planning.
  10. Mentor new team members.
  11. Ensure accurate reporting of working hours in Netsuite, with a focus on billable hours and proper utilization of project management tools.
  12. Track and report billable hours, a key aspect of project management and delivery.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing.
  2. Experience with automated testing tools is an asset, given the technical nature of our products.
  3. Strong problem recognition and solving skills.
  4. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  5. Ability to work effectively within teams and with stakeholders and clients.
  6. Judgment in escalating issues appropriately.
  7. Experience with electronic health records or systems integration projects is an asset.
  8. Experience testing REST APIs and web applications using tools like Postman.
  9. Undergraduate degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
