We’re hiring an Intermediate Public Relations & Communications professional who can balance strategic thinking with strong execution. This role is ideal for someone with experience in public relations, media strategy, communications planning, and stakeholder engagement — someone who understands how to craft messaging that resonates and responds to real-world challenges.

You’ll support projects ranging from government initiatives and community campaigns to business communications and brand strategy — helping ensure our clients are seen, heard, and understood.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Contribute to the development and execution of communications strategies, media plans, and public-facing campaigns.
  • Write, review, and refine press releases, briefing notes, speeches, backgrounders, key messages, and stakeholder materials.
  • Support issues management and crisis communications, providing timely messaging, coordination, and response frameworks.
  • Lead or support media relations, including outreach, coordination, and monitoring coverage.
  • Assist with planning and implementation of public engagement initiatives, both online and in-person.
  • Draft and review internal and external communications for clients, including announcements, proposals, newsletters, executive statements, and social content.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on project planning and content delivery, contributing to clear workflows and consistent quality.
  • Stay current on public policy, regional issues, and media trends that affect our clients and sectors.

Your Skills & Experience :

  • A clear, confident communicator with strong writing and editing abilities across multiple formats.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and communications channels with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Strategic mindset with experience developing and delivering communications plans.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Knowledge of media relations and public affairs practices in Atlantic Canada or similar regional contexts.
  • Experience with public sector or nonprofit clients is an asset.
  • What You Bring :
