Zurich Canada is currently looking for a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team as an Intermediate Property Product Designer. Reporting to the Head of Underwriting Quality and Governance, Canada, you will contribute to the product development process and provide project leadership for projects of moderate complexity across one or more lines of business. The primary aim is to timely and successfully create new innovative insurance solutions.

What you will do
  1. Build product offerings by collaborating with other groups, reviewing competitors, and documenting offerings and pricing.
  2. Define specifications and build new products or enhance existing ones efficiently and timely with cross-functional teams.
  3. Support change management and organizational design.
  4. Develop business cases to determine potential benefits and support planning processes.
  5. Update policies, procedures, and governance tools within own area.
  6. Research and analyze key themes and trends from primary data sources to make recommendations for achieving business goals.
Job Qualifications - What you bring to the table

Required:
• Bachelor's Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Product Development area
OR
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in the Product Development area

Preferred:

  • Property underwriting or Property claims with a good understanding of coverages and some policy forms drafting experience
  • CIP / FCIP / CPCU
  • CRM / ARM
  • CPU
  • Juris Doctor (JD)
  • Change management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
