Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience with BC Health Authorities.
  • 4+ years of experience on projects with the BC Health Authorities.
  • 1+ years of experience as at least a Junior Project Manager on a large, complex IT project involving more than one BC Health Authority.
  • Hands‑on experience in an intermediate role for enterprise strategic initiatives.
  • Exceptional ability to work across all project areas and identify upstream impacts, downstream impacts, dependencies, and overlapping activities.
  • Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal with audiences at all levels.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to develop well considered, logical, and justifiable options through Briefing Notes (i.e., Situation, Background, Assessment, and Recommendation).
  • Must demonstrate a strong ability to follow established project management methodologies, frameworks, and standard operating procedures as defined by the Project Director and / or delegate.
  • Exceptional ability to develop and maintain strong and professional working relationships with a variety of stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to influence others, mediate, and move towards a common vision or goal.
  • Exceptional skills in handling sensitive and challenging situations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft’s suite of tools (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint)
