Qualifications

• Diploma in Drafting & Design Technology or related technical discipline.
• 1-5+ years piping design experience in oil & gas, pipelines, facilities, utilities, or industrial projects.
• Experience with AutoCAD and 3D design software (Plant 3D, CADWorx) is required.
• Familiar with engineering drawings, PIDs, piping layouts and design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare piping and facility design drawings per project requirements and standards.
• Develop design deliverables: Plot Plans, GA, Piping Isometrics, P&ID markups, BOMs.
• Create/maintain 2D and 3D models using Plant 3D, CADWorx and similar software.
• Support facility layouts, piping routing, equipment placement, and constructability reviews.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers and project teams to support execution.
• Participate in drawing reviews and quality control to ensure accuracy.
• Apply standards to deliverables and assist with design package preparation.

You will work alongside experienced engineers and designers to develop piping layouts, 3D models, engineering drawings, and design packages for a variety of energy and industrial projects. Responsibilities

• Prepare piping and facility design drawings in accordance with project requirements, client specifications, and industry standards.
• Develop and maintain design deliverables, including Plot Plans, General Arrangements, Piping Isometrics, Orthographic Drawings, Piping Support Details, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and P&ID markups and drawing updates.
• Create and maintain 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD Plant 3D, CADWorx, and other approved design software.
• Assist in facility layouts, piping routing, equipment placement, and constructability reviews.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers, and multidisciplinary project teams to support project execution.
• Participate in drawing reviews and quality control activities to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Apply company, client, and regulatory standards to design deliverables.
• Support field verification activities, redline updates, and as-built drawing development.
• Assist with the preparation of design packages for internal and client review.
• Identify and communicate potential design conflicts and constructability concerns.
• Contribute to maintaining project schedules and delivering quality work within project timelines.
• Continuously develop technical knowledge, design capabilities, and industry expertise.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Drafting & Design Technology, Engineering Design & Drafting, or a related technical discipline.
• Approximately 1-5+ years of piping design experience in oil & gas, pipelines, facilities, utilities, or industrial projects.
• Experience using AutoCAD and exposure to 3D design software such as Plant 3D, CADWorx, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings, P&IDs, piping layouts, and design documentation.
• Exposure to EPCM, consulting, owner-operator, or construction environments is considered an asset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within project schedules.
