Position Overview

We have a permanent, full-time opportunity for an Intermediate or Senior Project Engineer (Electrical Engineering) in the Engineering Projects Department. Reporting to the Manager, Airport Terminal Projects, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing diverse design and construction projects, focusing on electrical infrastructure upgrades and new installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing capital and investment projects, including scope, budget, and schedule development.
• Preparing and implementing project plans collaboratively with stakeholders, ensuring safety and environmental standards.
• Developing RFP and tender documents with clear scope and technical requirements.
• Leading design teams to produce contract documents aligned with project goals, scope, schedule, and budget.
• Managing contracts, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments.
• Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders, facilitating reviews and site visits.

Key Qualifications

• Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering; 5+ years (Intermediate) or 10+ years (Senior) experience in design, construction, or consulting, preferably in facilities electrical systems.
• Registration or eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer with EGBC; NPPE completion required.
• Knowledge of construction standards; familiarity with airport operations is an asset.
• Strong project management skills, including contract law and administration.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Project.
• Excellent communication skills.

Salary Range

Intermediate: $93,788 - $122,573; Senior: $99,945 - $130,621 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
