About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Product Reliability Engineer who will partner with service owners and engineering teams to help craft and build services that are resilient, highly performant and easy to scale :
Use your tenacious problem solving skill to help teams tackle some of their trickiest scale and reliability issues.
Define standards for architecting, building, operating and monitoring highly scalable and resilient services.
Establish common SLIs and SLOs and work with service teams to ensure production services have reliability built-in.

About You
You have developed your skills as a software engineer, by creating or enhancing multiple large scale web services, and supporting them in production. Your background may include experience as a Software Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or in a similar reliability-focused role. You have stories to tell about production issues and lessons learned. Your experiences have taught you how to address difficult problems and, more importantly, how to pro-actively construct solutions to prevent them.
Basic Qualification for Intermediate
3+ years in a Software Reliability Engineering role, in cloud-scale web services with language skills like Java / Kotlin and Spring Boot
Experience with service ownership, monitoring & alerting, incident response, and release management
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields, or equivalent experience
Basic Qualifications For Senior
5+ years in a Software Reliability Engineering role, in cloud-scale web services with language skills like Java / Kotlin and Spring Boot
Experience with service ownership, monitoring & alerting, incident response, and release management
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields, or equivalent experience
Other Qualifications
Familiarity with CI / CD practices and tools : Gradle, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
Deep knowledge of resilience patterns such as circuit breakers, bulkheads, timeouts and rate limiting
Experience with JVM and / or Node.js performance analysis
Familiarity with top cloud platforms : AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate optimally across the organization
Experience developing cloud-scale web services preferred

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission / bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
