Our valued professional services client is looking for an Intermediate NetworkTechnicianto support LAN, WAN, and DNS/DHCP systems!

Initial 6-month contract with possibility of extension. 100% on-site in Longueil, QC - occasional travel may be required.

As the successful candidate, you will configure and maintain network infrastructure such as switches, wireless controllers, and access points. You will be responsible for the support and operation of specialized components of a network, such as Local Area Networks (LANs), Wireless LANs (WLANs), and DNS/DHCP (DDI) systems

Responsibilities

  • Support the maintenance of network hardware and systems
  • Support problem resolution of problems to less experienced personnel.
  • Run testing routines or scripts provided by engineering staff; may conduct more complex testing to meet specified requirements.
  • Maintains LAN, WLAN, or DDI Systems in accordance with specified requirements.
  • Performs Network IMACD work for customer, based on ticket requests.
  • Provides consultation, support and guidance to clients on IMACD issues/questions.
  • Participates in network team efforts to ensure work meets client needs.

Must-Have Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in networks IMACD activities
  • Experience working with Cisco systems products - specifically with switching and wireless
  • Strong understanding of TCP/UDP IP protocols.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Task management, change management, or problem management experience with ServiceNow
