Blue Chip MRC and Field Servicesis actively seeking anIntermediate Measurement Technicianto support a long-term project inGrandePrairie, Alberta.

This full-time role directly supports one of Canada’s top energy producers and is ideal for candidates experienced in field measurement, regulatory compliance, and operations support. Position Highlights:

·Full-time permanent role

·Based in Grande Prairie, Alberta

·Supported by Blue Chip’s senior measurement and regulatory leadership team

·Exposure to a progressive and highly respected upstream energy producer

Key Responsibilities:

·Review and update metering schematics to ensure regulatory and operational accuracy

·Review, trend, and manage volumetric data for integrity

·Manage meter maintenance, sampling, and effluent testing programs

·Support monthly reporting for Production Accounting

·Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance to optimize measurement tasks and budgets

·Lead or support internal and external audits related to measurement and reporting

·Identify cost-saving initiatives to reduce metering maintenance and operational costs (OPEX)

·Streamline and standardize measurement procedures for long-term efficiency

·Assist with fuel, flare, and vent measurement and reporting

·Participate in the Management of Change (MOC) process, including drawing reviews and regulatory compliance

·Oversee calibration, proving, and sampling activities when issues arise

·Provide regulatory guidance for new developments in partnership with Engineering

·Offer operational insight into field testing and measurement best practices

Who You Are:

·3–5+ years of experience in field measurement, regulatory compliance, or oil & gas operations

·Strong understanding of AER Directives; D-017 specifically, but D-060 and 076 are an asset

·Background in instrumentation, operations, or measurement is a strong asset

·Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

·Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently at remote sites

·Clear communicator and capable technical writer

·Experience with schematics, separation systems, or test setups is considered an advantage
