Description:
The successful candidate will take an important role in design and project management within MPE’s Water Resources team. The position requires a broad range of skills and experience in a wide variety of water resource projects. The position will be based in MPE’s Sudbury office.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University in Civil or Environmental Engineering,
- Registration with PEO as an Engineer (P.Eng., or E.I.T.),
- 0 to 8 years of experience in engineering including design, management, construction supervision, and project management. Preferably for water resource related projects.
- Experience completing hydrotechnical assessments and hydrology as well as use of hydraulic modeling software is desirable.
- Self-motivated, with good leadership, project management and client management experience; and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Management of projects, contract administration, construction management, and design engineering,
- Coordination, supervision, mentoring, and management of junior engineers and technologists,
- Prepare planning reports, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents,
- Perform construction administration and general construction supervision duties,
- Work closely with our clients to ensure their project objectives are met.
