Job description

Looking for an intermediate / junior licensed architect who can support the Project Manager in leading project team members producing working drawings, building permit and construction drawings. Lead the project process with minimum supervision and has local Canadian work experience.

Knowledge of Contract Administration process as well as strong communication and relationship skills are a must!

Most of The Things You'll Work On :
  1. Assist in the preparation of design development packages
  2. Working with production teams - assign, delegate and review drawing packages
  3. Coordinate with sub-consultants, engineers and prepare technical working drawings
  4. Work on multiple projects at the same time and lead small to intermediate size teams to complete each project
  5. Work with clients and user groups to develop concepts during schematic design and design development meetings
  6. Organize and lead user groups and client stakeholder meetings
  7. Prepare meeting minutes and project schedules
  8. Assist in Contract Admin services such as the review of shop drawings and preparation of site instructions
Qualifications

You'll Need To Have :

  1. Minimum of 6-8 years related project experience focused on high-rise projects
  2. Experience producing a range of deliverables like: working drawings, building permits, construction drawings within a deadline-driven environment
  3. Past experience supporting Project Manager and having a leadership role within production teams is a plus
  4. Experience working with and coordinating with project Specialists / Consultants and Engineers
  5. Good skills related to the Construction Administration process
  6. Proficient working with Revit
  7. Experience working within multi-disciplinary Teams on large complex projects
  8. High level of accuracy, be detail-oriented with strong time management skills
  9. Excellent oral and written communication skills
  10. Strong interpersonal skills to work with a range of professionals
