Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Winnipeg is seeking an Intermediate / Junior Civil Engineer to manage a variety of water conveyance and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and strong leadership and project management skills. This role involves project management, coordination, and working closely with clients to achieve project goals.

Qualifications

• 5 years (+/-) experience in design, management, construction supervision, and project management.
• Experience in hydrotechnical assessments and hydrology.
• Self-motivated with good client management experience.

Responsibilities

• Management of projects and contract administration.
• Coordination and supervision of junior engineers.
• Prepare planning reports and design documents.
• Perform construction administration and supervision.
• Work closely with clients to meet project objectives.

Description:

The successful candidate will use their technical and management skills to deliver a wide variety of water conveyance and other infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University in Civil or Environmental Engineering,
• Registration with EGM as an Engineer (P.Eng., or E.I.T.),
• 5 years (+/-) experience in engineering including design, management, construction supervision, and project management. Preferably for water resource related projects.
• Experience completing hydrotechnical assessments and hydrology as well as use of hydraulic modeling software is desirable.
• Self-motivated, with good leadership, project management and client management experience; and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Management of projects, contract administration, construction management, and design engineering,
• Coordination, supervision, mentoring, and management of junior engineers and technologists,
• Prepare planning reports, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents,
• Perform construction administration and general construction supervision duties,
