Are you an experienced Field Technician looking to progress your career? We're looking for Intermediate Level Field Technicians.

You're an ideal candidate if you have the:

• Reliability to collect precise field data that engineers can trust for million-dollar decisions
• Adaptability to represent GEMTEC professionally with clients, developers, or contractors
• 3-5 Years experience in a similar role.
• Security clearance or the ability to obtain

A typical day on the job for you might look like:

• Getting your hands dirty testing aggregates, soil, and concrete in our lab
• Heading out to sites to collect and test samples of soils, concrete, and asphalt
• Making sure compaction is on-point for subgrade soils, aggregates, and asphalt
• Inspecting subgrades and foundations to ensure they're built right
• Taking charge of drill rig operations and keeping things running smoothly
• Jumping between office, lab, and field for various materials testing tasks
• Tackling other related duties when needed

• College Diploma in civil technology (or similar field) is helpful - whether you're enrolled now or recently finished
• Previous experience with materials testing and inspection gives you an edge
• Background in civil construction work is valuable
• You'll need a valid driver's license and your own vehicle to get to job sites
• You can document field observations and effectively discuss project details with the team.
