Intermediate Environmental Scientist/Engineer

Role overview

Arcadis Canada is seeking an Intermediate Environmental Scientist/Engineer to join our Environmental Team, based out of Alberta or the prairie provinces. The role involves site visits across the region and potential travel across Canada. This position supports our efforts within the Global Resilience Business Area to protect natural environments and water resources amid climate change and urbanization challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute environmental projects, including site assessments and remediation.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and supervise drilling/remediation activities.
• Collect samples and prepare environmental reports.
• Ensure compliance with provincial and federal regulations.
• Supervise contractors and manage field operations.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Registered as an E.I.T. or G.I.T., with eligibility for P.Eng. or P.Geo. considered an asset.

Additional details
