Arcadis Canada is seeking an Intermediate Environmental Scientist/Engineer to join our Environmental Team in Canada. This position will be based out of Alberta or the prairie provinces. Travel to sites throughout the region will be required, and there is an opportunity to travel across Canada.

As an Intermediate Environmental Scientist/Engineer, you will collaborate with Project Managers to coordinate and execute environmental projects, including data gap reviews, Phase I and II environmental site assessments, and remediation projects. Your responsibilities will include conducting site visits and inspections, monitoring drilling and remediation activities, preparing field notes, collecting soil and groundwater samples, and writing environmental reports.
Specific responsibilities include:
The role may involve a hazardous building materials component, including asbestos, lead, mould, silica, etc. The position is expected to be at least 65% fieldwork and 35% office work, with some out-of-town travel. Field work includes hazardous building materials assessments, indoor air quality investigations, developing specifications, report writing, and oversight of abatement activities, including collection of air samples for asbestos, lead, and mould.
Eligibility for P.Eng. or P.Geo. is considered an asset.

The salary range for this position is $66,000-$99,000, based on location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
