Your Opportunity

Dillon’s Contaminant Assessment & Management discipline is looking for an Intermediate Environmental Engineer/Geoscientist to join our multidisciplinary team of professionals. You will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects while providing clients with a fully integrated and superior customer experience.

We operate as one team at Dillon. This position is based at our Moncton office. We offer flexible work hours and hybrid work arrangements to help balance work and personal life.

Responsibilities
What your day will look like
Project Management & Implementation
  • Manage and complete contaminated sites projects in Atlantic Canada, including Phase I, II & III ESAs, hydrogeological investigations, sampling programs, and remediation projects. Additional responsibilities may include hazardous materials assessments, risk assessments, waste management, and air quality projects.
  • Prepare and review reports, contracts, and supporting documentation.
  • Manage health and safety plans, coordinate field programs, and oversee subcontractors. Build and maintain relationships with clients, regulators, and stakeholders.
  • Understand environmental regulations relevant to contaminated sites across various locations.
Business Development
  • Respond to RFPs related to contaminated sites and develop strong client relationships.
  • Manage relationships with clients, regulators, and service providers.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in both private and public sectors.
Learning & Development
  • Commit to ongoing professional development.
  • Mentor junior staff, provide technical guidance, and contribute to Dillon’s professional presence through participation in associations.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Geology, or related field.
  • Designations (P.Eng/P.Geo) are assets.
  • Over 5 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting or project management.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations.
  • Valid driver’s license.
Experience
  • Managing multiple environmental projects in diverse locations.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in geology, hydrogeology, chemistry, remediation, and safety procedures.
  • Knowledge of provincial and federal legislation.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; CAD, GIS, and related software are assets.
