Job Description

As an intermediate practitioner, you will actively participate in multi-disciplinary regional and national teams, working on a variety of environmental impact assessment and permitting projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical input on a variety of permitting, regulatory and environmental impact assessment tasks.
  • Work on multiple projects, to support execution of scope/budget/schedule to meet quality standards on project deliverables.
  • Execute activities such as permit application scoping and information requirements, technical writing, data and regulatory research and review, collection and integration of input from subject matter experts.
  • Support typical project assignments which include researching regulatory or technical requirements, and writing reports and proposals.
  • Lead environmental impact assessments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Biology or Environmental Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience, including prior experience with federal and provincial environmental impact assessments.
  • Some project management experience.
  • Expertise with Federal and/or Provincial and Territorial regulations and guidelines.
  • Ability to function in a team setting, accept responsibility, and work to deadlines.
