Job summary

Englobe is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead building services design for various facilities in Alberta. You will prepare detailed design documents, model power systems up to 750V with SKM, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams on project meetings.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, registration with APEGA or ASET, and a minimum of 7 years of electrical engineering experience, including building designs and Alberta-specific requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• Registration with APEGA or ASET; P.Eng or P.Tech (Eng.) is required.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical engineering.
• Experience with commercial/industrial building electrical designs and Alberta requirements.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit and SKM.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support electrical engineering design for Building Services across commercial, institutional and industrial facilities.
• Prepare detailed design documents including calculations, reports, drawings and specifications.
• Model electrical power systems (up to 750V) using SKM.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in project meetings.
• Conduct site assessments and construction reviews to verify design compliance.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technologists.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, cost estimates and client communications.
