Intermediate Electrical Designer - Rail & Transit
Join SENER as an Intermediate Electrical Designer - Rail & Transit in our Toronto office (hybrid work model). We are seeking a professional with experience in electrical design for railway and transit projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design electrical systems for facilities, stations, lighting, and conduit distribution.
- Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to determine optimal design solutions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules.
Technical Expertise:
- Establish design basis and technical criteria for electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, grounding, bonding, and lightning protection.
- Develop conceptual and detailed engineering designs for electrical systems in railway and transit projects.
- Review electrical documents and drawings.
- Strong knowledge of standards such as CSA, OBC, NFPA, and IEEE.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5-7 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically in railway and transit or large civil projects.
- Experience with facilities is mandatory; rail and transit experience is an asset.
- Professional Engineer license in Ontario is an asset but not mandatory.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
