About Us

Who We are Looking for

Explorers - people who want their footsteps to be the first ever to step in certain places.

We are often trying to answer questions for which we don't know whether answers even exist. We need people who are comfortable with that level of unknown, who thrive in it, don’t need to be told what to do, and are comfortable being wrong, but are more often actually right.

In this role…

You are smart and driven and you enjoy diving into data and untangling complexity. You live and breathe code – and instinctively find well-designed solutions to hard problems. You are naturally curious when developing and you have a special gift for figuring things out.

You have exceptional technical and interpersonal skills. We’re a small but mighty team and it’s imperative we bring our best to the table. Every day.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to help drive strategic decisions and deliver actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in data collection, cleaning, and validation from multiple sources
  • Perform exploratory data analysis and create visualizations to identify patterns and trends
  • Build and test predictive models using statistical and machine learning techniques
  • Communicate findings through clear reports, dashboards, and presentations
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to support project goals
  • Contribute to the improvement of data processes and analytical frameworks

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in a data science, analytics, or related role
  • Proficient in Python
  • Solid understanding of statistics and machine learning fundamentals
  • Experience developing batch and real time data streams to create meaningful insights and analytics
  • Strong SQL and relational database (snowflake, delta) experience
  • Demonstrated experience with pyspark or databricks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git
  • Understanding of data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Strong communication and documentation skills

Here is what you can expect from us:

  • We offer competitive compensation that includes an equity component, and the chance to be a part of something really awesome!
  • We’re also remote first, so you aren’t tied to an office.
  • Oh, and did we mention long weekends? Yeah, each one is four days long, just so you have a little more time for you!

Currently, we are only able to consider applicants who are legally allowed to work in Canada.

We are committed to providing a barrier-free work environment in concert with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act and the Ontario Human Rights Code. As such, we will make accommodations available to applicants with disabilities upon request during the recruitment process.

InnerSpace is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
