  • Mentor junior staff and review AutoCAD Civil 3D work.
  • Perform stormwater hydrological & hydraulic modelling, including Low Impact Development (LID) systems.
  • Prepare detailed design calculations for rural and in-town servicing, including municipal water, sanitary and storm sewers, on-site sewage systems, and other servicing systems.
  • Develop and evaluate multiple design alternatives and provide recommendations.
  • Coordinate and respond to review agency comments and requirements.
  • Attend and contribute to meetings with clients, review agencies, and project teams.
  • Analyze collected data and prepare technical reports, letters, and memoranda.
  • Assist with proposal preparation and project planning.
  • Prepare construction specifications, tender documents, and support construction oversight.
  • Collaborate with senior project managers, project team staff, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide field support and construction inspection as required.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5–8 years of professional experience in civil engineering and consulting, with exposure to land development, municipal design, and stormwater management projects.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from a recognized Canadian University.
  • Has obtained or is eligible to obtain P.Eng. in Ontario or currently pursuing licensure.
  • Strong technical report writing and communication skills.

While hybrid work is permitted, regular, consistent presence in the office is an essential component of mentoring and teaching of junior staff. On occasion, overtime work or work outside of normal operating hours may be a requirement.
  • Willingness to take on a project management role for small, medium and large scale projects.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) recognized within Ontario (PEO), applicants in other provinces will be considered.
