Your Contribution

Due to the continued growth of our business, we have an immediate opening in our Fredericton New Brunswick office for a Civil Engineer. As an Immediate Civil Engineer you will be working in collaboration with the Civil team.

The candidate will work with our dynamic team of civil engineers and technologists across the region to complete various municipal projects while focusing on meeting the varied needs of our clients. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

  • The successful candidate will use their technical and management skills to deliver a wide variety of infrastructure projects.
  • Management of projects, contract administration, construction management, and design engineering.
  • Coordination, supervision, mentoring, and management of junior engineers and technologists.
  • Prepare planning reports, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Perform construction administration and general construction supervision duties.
  • Work closely with our clients to ensure their project objectives are met.
  • Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety rules.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited University in Civil Engineering.
  • Registration with APEGNB as an Engineer (P.Eng.), or immediate eligibility.
  • 5 years experience in engineering including project design, management, construction supervision, and project management. Preferably for linear infrastructure projects.
  • Experience completing hydrotechnical assessments and hydrology as well as use of hydraulic modeling software would be considered an asset.
  • Self-motivated, with good leadership, project management and client management experience; and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
