The Opportunity:
McElhanney has an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate CAD Technician to join our growing team in Fort St. John, BC. We are seeking a strong communicator who has excellent drafting skills and experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D. As a true team player, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with Land Surveyors, project managers, civil engineers, EITs, LSTs, and survey technologists on a variety of innovative and rewarding Survey, Geomatics, and Engineering projects. Join our dynamic team in Fort St. John and contribute to exciting and challenging projects in the region.
This role is based in Fort St. John, BC. If you are located outside the area but willing to relocate, relocation assistance is available. For highly qualified candidates, remote work may be an option after the initial training period. However, all new hires must complete a mandatory onsite training program in Fort St. John for the first few months before any remote work arrangements can be considered.

The salary range for this position is $28 - $36 per hour. McElhanney offers fair compensation that is commensurate with the individual’s education, experience, skills, and professional qualifications. The posted base salary/wage range is representative of the required level of qualifications and experience for the position as noted in the job posting. The salary offered will be based on the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
