Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Transformer des notes d'ingénierie, spécifications en dessins de travail conformes.
• Support de conception de projet, y compris mentorat pour le personnel junior.
• Collaborer avec diverses équipes et partenaires externes.

Who are we looking for?

Our Southern Ontario offices in Whitby, Toronto, Mississauga, Markham, and St. Catherines are seeking Intermediate CAD/BIM Designers to join our growing Canadian Transportation Group. This role is ideal for intermediate CAD/BIM technicians aiming to advance their careers in transportation structures design for municipalities, MTO, IO, and major transportation partners.

In this role, you will:

• Transform engineering notes, specifications, rough sketches, etc., into formalized working drawings, ensuring compliance with standards and codes.
• Provide project design support, including mentorship and guidance to junior staff.
• Collaborate with various teams and external partners, including municipalities and utility companies.
• Experience with design delivery within conventional and design-build project models is an asset.
• Apply technical manuals to ensure compliance with company policies and standards such as CSA and MTO Details.
• Learn or gain exposure to visualization software (Infraworks, etc.) and design programming (Dynamo, etc.), which are assets but not required.

What you will bring to the team

• At least 5 years of relevant design experience for bridges and related steel/concrete structures.
• Experience in bridge rehabilitation techniques and methodologies.
• Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley, and ProjectWise.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across regions and disciplines.
• Diploma in Structural Technology or related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid Ontario driver’s license.
