Job description
Overview

The Intermediate Business Analyst will liaise between our client’s development teams and the stakeholders. They analyze the business requirements and participate in the project solution delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Take ideas from the business and translate them into requirements for the developers and designers to build out.
  • Facilitate collaborative sessions with large and diverse business stakeholder groups to drive requirements discovery, analysis, and reviews
  • Identify business needs and determine solutions to business problems by analyzing options/solutions
  • Gather and analyze data from different sources. Make data-driven decisions and suggestions
  • Ensure requirements captured are clear (written in business language), accurate and detailed enough to support downstream design, development activities efficiently and effectively – i.e. leave no opportunity for “interpretation” of the business requirement by others
  • Analyze, document E-2-E business processes and flows “AS IS” vs. “TO BE”, and communicate an impact of changes for implementation planning
  • Create, refine and maintain user stories and other backlog items
  • Update requirements documents and user guides as required to keep them current – throughout the full lifecycle of a product (Pre & Post Production)
  • Assess and ensure that customer and employee experience/stakeholder impacts are appropriately managed
  • Makes decisions and performs in a manner that is aligned with company goals, vision, mission, and values.
  • Work with compliance, risk teams and other internal staff experts to maximize standardization and efficiency of solutions under development
Experience
  • 3-4 years in business and/or systems analysis, requirements planning and documentation
  • 2-3 years of experience in banking or financial services
  • Experience with Dynamics CRM is an asset
  • Good experience dealing with senior stakeholders
  • Established background in an Agile environment
  • Experience in wireframing and process modeling (using any tool)
  • Experience with application integration is an asset
  • Experience in testing is an asset

This is a permanent position with an annual salary of $85,000.00 plus bonus, located in Toronto (work from home until deemed safe).
