Within an agile team, the successful candidate will contribute to developing and maintaining data collection and business process automation processes. They will also participate in implementing a web portal for managing retirement solutions.

This position offers a 100% work-from-home arrangement.

Responsibilities

1. Analyze current and future needs: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document functional and technical requirements.
2. Study and understand existing code: Familiarize with the architecture and code of the current solution for effective integration and maintenance.
3. Develop according to the software development life cycle (SDLC): Participate in all SDLC phases, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
4. Ensure proper functioning of the software solution: Perform tests and validate results to guarantee quality and performance.

Required Qualifications

• Background in computer science or software engineering
• 4+ years of professional experience in software development
• Fluency in both French and English, written and verbal

Hands-on Experience

• Software development in C#, Microsoft .NET Core, or .NET Framework using Visual Studio
• Development of web applications with Angular (including AngularJS) or similar JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, etc.)
• Deployment using Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), or Octopus Deploy
• REST API development
• Development using HTML and CSS

Assets

• Setting up pipelines with Helm scripting and YAML/YML
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
• Knowledge of web service development, WebAPI, WCF
• Experience in ASP.NET development
• Understanding of unit testing cycles (Cypress, Protractor, etc.)
• Experience in agile development environments
• Knowledge of enterprise software architecture and industry best practices
