We are seeking a talented and motivated Intermediate Architect/Technologist to join our Vancouver office. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a passion for design, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

• Design Development:

• Assist in developing design concepts and schematic design.

• Prepare construction drawings and specifications.

• Coordinate with consultants and contractors.

• Technical Design:

• Develop detailed design solutions for building systems, including structure, MEP, and envelope.

• Ensure compliance with building codes, standards, and client requirements.

• Review shop drawings and submittals.

• Project Coordination:

• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of design documents.

• Manage project schedules and deadlines.

• Assist in project administration tasks, such as document control and meeting minutes.

Must Haves:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology.

• 5+ years of experience in residential and commercial design, with a focus on mid-rise and high-rise projects.

• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in ArchiCad and other design software.

• Understanding of building codes, standards, and construction methods.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with wood frame construction.

• Proficiency in 3D modelling and visualization software (e.g., SketchUp, Enscape, Lumion).

• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and LEED certification.

Salary: $75-85k
