RevelHouse is seeking an Intermediate Architect to join the team. RevelHouse is a design-driven studio specializing in commercial (hospitality and entertainment), recreational, and residential projects. We thrive in a collaborative studio environment that values creativity, curiosity, and precision. This position is ideal for someone with strong technical skills and a passion for interiors is an asset. You’ll support the team in all phases from concept design through construction documents and assist with coordination of subconsultants and suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed architectural and interior drawings and documentation for all project phases, including permit, tender, and construction
  • Prepare specifications, presentation materials, and drawing sets for interiors, buildings, and structures in alignment with project requirements
  • Translate design concepts into coordinated technical documents that ensure design continuity and buildability
  • Collaborate closely with senior team members to support day-to-day project execution and decision-making
  • Conduct material and product research
  • Maintain drawing standards, accuracy, and consistency across all project documentation
  • Participate in design reviews, internal QA / QC, and code compliance checks
  • Support consultant coordination. Review consultant progress and contribute to coordination of drawings and specifications
  • Prepare graphic drawings, diagrams, reports, and sketches for internal and external communications
  • Track delegated tasks, manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines with minimal oversight
  • Assist with monitoring project scope, schedule, and deliverables
  • Actively contribute to a collaborative, respectful, and studio environment

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of post-graduate experience working in architecture in Ontario.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in both commercial and residential architecture.
  • Demonstrated experience with interiors-driven projects, ideally in commercial or hospitality sectors
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a collaborative studio environment
  • Interest and experience in interior architecture and detailing.
  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Solid knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and construction detailing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to problem-solving by evaluating alternatives and applying sound judgment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
