Architecture49 is seeking an Intermediate Architect to join our team in Toronto, ON.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team in producing architectural design solutions and construction drawings.
  • Manage a group of architectural staff, leading project meetings, and coordinating other building disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Manage a team of consultants.
  • Client communication.
  • Provide technical and administrative oversight to ensure that both the internal and external client needs are met and that the projects are delivered within cost, quality, and schedule targets.
  • Manage the financial aspect of the project including planning, scheduling, forecasting, and staffing, and working with accounting to achieve the desired results.
  • Support the team in pursuing work through assisting with RFP preparation including schedule and fee.

Qualifications

  • Registered architect in Ontario (OAA), or eligibility to be registered in the province.
  • Minimum of 7 years experience working in a similar role.
  • Preference given to candidates with knowledge of BIM principles & workflows, REVIT software, AutoCAD software, Visualization software, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft 365 environment, and Bluebeam.
  • Bilingualism (English & French) is an asset.
