P@thlion Staffing Careers is seeking an experienced System Analyst to support Bitumen Royalty in Kind (BRIK) projects in Alberta. The role focuses on C#, Visual Studio and MS-SQL development, requirements gathering, testing coordination, and collaboration with business SMEs to ensure compliant, robust solutions.

The ideal candidate will work with ministries and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality application enhancements in a regulated energy environment.

Competenze

• Experience as a system analyst for application projects.
• Proficiency with C#, Visual Studio and MS-SQL.
• Experience in regulatory or energy sector environments preferred.

Mansioni

• Deliver coding and analysis tasks within a system development process.
• Coordinate with business units to ensure solutions meet ministry needs.
• Align development with Application Architecture guidelines.
• Write code for complex designs with minimal defects.
• Define non-functional requirements (performance, availability, recovery).
• Assess technical impacts and propose scalable designs.
• Produce database structures and system architecture documentation.
• Support testing, including unit, system and integration tests.
• Track time and status, and manage release schedules.
