Our Client is looking for an Intermediate Analytics Developer with Power BI to support ongoing projects for a Construction client.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Analytics Developer with deep expertise in Power BI to support our growing data and reporting needs. This role will play a key part in transforming complex data into actionable insights through interactive dashboards, visualizations, and reports that support strategic decision-making.

*Role is onsite in Edmonton*

Must Have's:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI in a professional setting.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and visualization best practices.
• Experience connecting Power BI to a variety of data sources (SQL Server, Excel, cloud sources, etc.).
• Ability to translate business requirements into meaningful data insights.
• Experience with Azure, Power Platform, or other BI tools is an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations.
• Perform data modeling, data cleansing, and DAX development.
• Optimize existing reports and datasets for performance and usability.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all reporting outputs.
• Stay up to date with Power BI updates and best practices.
