About The Role

We’re looking for strong Intermediate Software Developers to help us build AI products and services. While no experience with AI technology is required for this role, experience is a plus, and a candidate should be eager and willing to experiment with and learn new technologies. Our stack is primarily Ruby on Rails, MySQL, JavaScript, and Azure/OpenAI services, with increasing use of Python as we expand our AI architecture. Candidates should have senior-level web development experience (preferably with an MVC framework) or senior-level Python experience, or both.

Your Responsibilities As An Intermediate Software Developer

• Build, test, and support the development of web software applications and internal tools
• Analyze requirements and determine the best ways to meet or rework them; unique and innovative ideas are welcome
• Be proactive in identifying and addressing areas of technical concern
• Mentor peers, contribute to code reviews, and be mentored when learning new areas
• Collaborate across teams to continually improve processes
• Promote the use of design patterns and best practices
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies for prioritizing, understanding, and estimating
• Support the growth of Agile practices through Retrospectives

Minimum Qualifications
