This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate pursuing their CPA designation, as this position will count towards the required work experience hours. Reporting to the Senior Accountant, the Intermediate Accountant will assist in preparing divisional / banner financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly, quarterly, and annual close schedules, ensuring the integrity of financial information and compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end journal entries (expense and revenue accruals)
• Ownership of warranty financial statements
• Prepare daily cash flow and weekly payment proposals
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts to the general ledger
• Reconcile digital shop card invoices and tracker variances
• Review capital expenditure for acquisition posting
• Prepare monthly reports and perform related analysis
• Prepare monthly sales reports, calculate percentage rent, and prepare annual sales certification for landlords
• Assist team members as needed
• Perform other related duties
