Job Description

TheIntermediate Accountantwill drive best practices in accounting, financial reporting and compliance. The successful candidate will provide a variety of accounting functions, including preparing monthly financial statements, analysis and assisting in financial audits.

What you're responsible for:

• Ensuring the accuracy of accounting records.
• Performing monthly and year-end closing tasks.
• Preparingand presenting monthly and annual financial statements.
• Providingregular financial analysis to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensuringcompliance with tax obligations by preparing and submitting tax returns in accordance with applicable tax legislation.
• Collaboratingwith other departments to obtain necessary information and resolve accounting issues.
• Handlingaudit requests by collaborating with external auditors, providing the necessary documentation, and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
• Assisting with special financial projects as required.

Qualifications
