POSITION OVERVIEW

TheIntermediate Accountantwill play a vital role in supporting the Finance & Accounting team, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and contributing to the efficiency of accounting operations. As part of a growing department, this position offers an opportunity to refine processes, support financial reporting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Accounting Associate will perform a variety of financial and administrative support tasks, including but not limited to:

Reconciling accounts, including bank reconciliations, in a timely manner.
Managing entry, filing, and scanning for accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Providing clerical and accounting support to the accounting department.
Accurately typing, preparing, and maintaining accounting documents and records.
Preparing general ledger postings, and statements.
Entering key financial transaction data daily into the database.
Supporting company personnel with accounting inquiries.
Researching, tracking, and resolving discrepancies in accounting or documentation.
Informing management and compiling activity reports and summaries.
Adhering to established standards, procedures, and applicable laws.
Continuously updating job knowledge and skills.
Participating in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
