Tomas Pearce Interior Design is seeking a talented and experienced Interior Designer with 5 to 7 yrs. experience, to join our collaborative studio. With a strong portfolio of luxury residential and commercial work, we offer an exciting opportunity to contribute to some of the most dynamic and high-profile design projects in the country, including commercial condominiums, sales offices, and private executive residences and vacation homes.

The Role

You will collaborate closely with the entire team on a wide range of projects. We are looking for someone who brings both creativity and precision to their work, an individual who thrives in a fast-paced studio environment and is ready to grow within a supportive, design-driven team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of concepts and presentation materials for residential and commercial interiors.
  • Prepare and manage comprehensive construction drawing packages using AutoCAD.
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and trades throughout all project phases.
  • Manage and coordinate project documentation and scheduling in alignment with project timelines.
  • Stay informed on design trends, materials, and construction technologies.
  • Support internal team meetings and contribute to the creative energy of the office.

Qualifications

  • A degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or Architectural Technology, ARIDO Members are preferred.
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in both residential and commercial interior design.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit, SketchUp, and the Adobe Creative Suite is an asset.
  • Thorough understanding of Ontario Building Code (Part 3 & 9), materials, and finishes.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently or within a team.
  • Strong knowledge of project management processes.
